Boys Varsity Soccer Ties North Allegheny In Class 4A Battle

The boys varsity soccer team are getting accustomed to Class 4A with a couple big early season matchups. After tying Upper St. Clair on Sunday, the Mustangs drew another tie against North Allegheny on Tuesday, 1-1.
The boys fell behind 1-0 in the first half, but tied it in the second half when senior Garrett Chandler capitalized on a penalty kick, finding the back of the net.
The score remained tied through the end of regulation and both overtime periods.
The result moves the Mustangs record on the season to 1-0-2.
They will host another pivotal Class 4A non-section match on Thursday against Peters Township at 7:30 p.m.
