For the second time this season, the boys varsity soccer team overcame a 1-0 deficit against defending WPIAL champion, Norwin, this time coming away with a 2-1 victory on the road.
The win clinched the outright section title for the Mustangs, and gave them their 25th straight section win.
Down 1-0 late in the first half, Luke Hoburg found the back of the net to tie the score heading into halftime.
The Mustangs controlled the tempo in the second half until Andy Strasser hit a deflection into the goal for the game-winning goal.
Kent Holmes registered an assist in the game.
The win improves the boys to 14-0-3 overall and 10-0 in the section.
They will conclude the regular season on Saturday when they host Fox Chapel at noon.
