Girls Varsity Soccer Continues Shutout Streak In Section Win Against Kiski Area

The girls varsity soccer team picked up its fifth straight shutout to begin the season, defeating Kiski Area 2-0 in section play at Plum on Wednesday.
The Mustangs scored one goal in each half, with Ali Joyce putting them in front with her goal in the first half. Mia Nardo assisted on the goal.
Emily Grubich put the finishing touches on with her insurance goal late in the second half, assisted by Gianna Revetta.
Makenna Anderson and Malayna Smith combined for the shutout.
The Mustangs improve to 5-0 overall and 4-0 in the section.
They will travel to Indiana on Monday for a section game at 7:30 p.m.
