Girls Varsity Soccer Shuts Out West Mifflin On Senior Night

The rain didn't dampen the mood during the girls varsity soccer senior night on Monday as the Mustangs defeated West Mifflin, 8-0. It was the second time this season they defeated the Titans by that score.
The Mustangs had a trio of player score two goals with Emily Grubich, Olivia Bigger and Olivia Shafer. Bigger and Shafer also had an assist. CJ Gauntner and Allison Porter also scored a goal.
Mia Nardo led the team with two assists. Gianna Revetta, Serena Carnahan and Ali Joyce all had assists as well.
Makenna Anderson and Malayna Smith combined for the shutout.
The win improves the girls record to 10-1 overall and 9-0 in the section.
They will be back in action on Saturday when they host Norwin in a non-section game at 2:30 p.m.
