Boys Varsity Wrestling Takes Second Place At Bo Wood Tournament

The boys varsity wrestling team started the new year with a second place finish in the Bo Wood Tournament at Indiana on Saturday.
The Mustangs crowned two champions with Julien Sepelyak and Frank Grazulis both winning their weight classes.
Owen Campbell and Trent Reese both finished second in their weight classes.
Also placing were Brennan Overcash and Karter Gilliland in third and fourth place, respectively.
The Mustangs return home on Wednesday at 7 p.m. against Franklin Regional for Youth Night.
Owen Campbell Opens Season With Win At Chartiers Houston Tournament

It was a perfect start to the season for Owen Campbell, running the table to a Chartiers Houston Tournament championship.
At 139 pounds, Campbell received a bye as the top seed. Campbell went 4-0, breezing through the competition with a technical fall, pin, and two major decisions.
At 172 pounds, Julian Sepelyak finished in third place. After falling in the semifinals, Sepelyak responded with a 7-0 decision in the third place match.
At 285 pounds, Frank Grazulis finished in fifth place, winning his last bout by pinfall.
At 152 pounds, Trent Reese placed in sixth place.
As a team, the Mustangs finished in 10th place out of 30 teams.
The boys will have their home-opener on Wednesday when they host Penn-Trafford at 7 p.m.
