Boys Volleyball Makes Quick Work In Sweep Against Penn Hills

The boys varsity volleyball team got its revenge on Penn Hills with a 3-0 sweep against the Indians at home on Friday night.
The win gave the Mustangs the season series split against Penn Hills.
None of the sets were close, winning by scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-12.
Max Grice led the team with kills with 12, along with five digs, three aces and a block.
Adam Smith was the other Mustang in double figures in kills with 10. He added two aces and a block.
Steven Pribozie led the team with nine digs and had two aces.
Ramzy Feliachi led with 24 assists and added eight digs.
Other stats included AJ Leone with six kills, Lucas MIkhnyuk with two aces, taivon Rupert with two blocks and Joey Natalia, Derek Rogers, and Ulysses Walker with a block each.
The win improves their record to 4-9 overall and 2-5 in the section, keeping them alive for a playoff spot.
They will host Gateway next on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. for Senior Night.

Boys Varsity Volleyball Starts Fast, Knocks Off Central Catholic In Section Match

The boys varsity volleyball team continues to play well down the stretch, winning its second consecutive match, a 3-1 win against Central Catholic at home on Thursday night.
The Mustangs won the sets by scores of 25-23, 18-25, 25-21, 25-20
Max Grice led the way with 31 kills, 14 digs, two blocks and two aces.
Adam Smith had 13 kills, 10 digs and two blocks.
Ramzy Feliachi led the team with 45 assists and two aces.

Boys Varsity Volleyball Completes Sweep At Franklin Regional

The boys varsity volleyball team picked up its first sweep of the season, defeating Franklin Regional in straight sets on Tuesday night.
Leading the team in kills and aces was Max Grice and Adam Smith was second on the team in both.
Leading the team in assists was Ramzy Feliachi and Steven Pribozie in digs.
The win was the second of the season for the Mustangs.
They will host Central Catholic on Thursday at 7:15 p.m. in a section match.

Boys Varsity Volleyball Wins Five Set Thriller For Coach Marzina's First Win

The boys varsiry volleyball team rallied down 2-1 to win the final two sets to pick up the first dual win of the young season and first coaching win for first year head coach William Marzina, 3-2, at Deer Lakes, in non-section play on Tuesday.
The Mustangs lost the first set 23-25 before tying it up with a 25-20 win in set two. Their back were against the wall after losing set three 22-25. They squicked out a 25-23 win in set four to force a decisive set five, where they outlasted the Lancers, 15-13.
Max Grice led the team with six aces, 12 kills, 14 digs, and four blocks.
Bryce Nabozny had 11 kilss and three blocks, and Adam Smith also had 11 kills and team-leading 24 assists.
Joey Natalia led the team with four blocks and Taivon Rupert added three blocks.
Austin Schamber had 15 assists and Steven Pribozie led the team with 15 digs.
The Mustangs will host Fox Chapel on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
