
Varsity Hockey Ends Regular Season With Home Shutout Against Kiski Area

The varsity ice hockey team will be entering the PIHL playoffs with momentum after a 5-0 win against Kiski Area at Pittsburgh Ice Arena.
The Mustangs finished the regular season winning 12 of their last 14 games.
On Monday, Luca Lapiana led the team with a pair of goals. Also scoring were Colby Bartos, Joseph Massarelli, and Connor Reilly.
The Mustangs will now await to see when and who they will play in the playoffs.

Varsity Hockey Knocks Off Previously Undefeated Quaker Valley, 3-2

There are no more undefeated teams in PIHL Class A as of Monday night after the varsity ice hockey team knocked off top-ranked Quaker Valley, 3-2, on the road.
Scoring goals for the Mustangs were Luca Lapiana, Nick Majors and AJ Leah.
The Mustangs have played the Quakers tough in both matchups, getting revenge after a 3-1 defeat in the second game of the season.
The win improves their record to 12-7 and they sit in fifth place in the standings.
The regular season finale will be on Monday, Feb. 17 vs. Kiski Area at 8 p.m. at the Pittsburgh Ice Arena.

Varsity Hockey Record Second Five Game Win Streak Of Season With Win At Wheeling Central Catholic

The varsity ice hockey team have done well with stacking wins this season, recording its fifth straight win on Monday night, 5-2, at Wheeling Central Catholic.
This is the second time this season the Mustangs have recorded at least five wins in a row, winning six straight earlier in the season.
This is also the second win of the season against Wheeling Central Catholic, defeating them 4-0 earlier in the year.
On Monday, the Mustangs have five players score. AJ Leah, Anthony Smith, Tyler Bresso, Andy Verrengia, and Alex LeDonne all found the back of the net.
The win improves their record to 11-6.
They will travel to Greensburg Salem on Thursday for a 9:15 start.

Varsity Hockey Wins Fourth Straight Game Against Beaver

The varsity ice hockey team continued its win streak with a 4-1 win against Beaver on Monday at Pittsburgh Ice Arena.
With the win, the Mustangs earned the series sweep over the Bobcats and improved to 10-6 on the season.
Leading the offense was Tyler Bresso with two goals. Also scoring was Nick Majors and Luca Lapiana.
The boys will travel to Wheeling Central Catholic for their next game on Monday at 8 p.m.
